ESC Gaming has defeated Virtus.pro 2-0* (16-7 de_mirage_csgo, 16-6 de_nuke_ve) in the best-of-five grand final of SLTV StarSeries IV finals to clinch the first CS:GO season's title and $6,000. The Poles continued strong counter-terrorist play on de_mirage_csgo as they once again scored into the double digits with a 10-5 lead at half, but unlike in the upper bracket final where they lost after a 12-3 lead, this time they followed through with a 6-2 second half.
With their backs against the wall, having to win the next three maps in a row to have a chance at the title, Virtus.pro started off as terrorists on de_nuke_ve and only managed to score five rounds at half. Filip "NEO" Kubski's team was once again able to retain their lead, as they held the second 10-5 lead as well, winning 6-1 as terrorists for a 3-0* (ESC started the series up 1-0 due to winning the upper bracket) series sweep.
